What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help a website work and remember your preferences. We keep ours to a minimum.
The cookies we use
Essential
Needed for the site to work — they remember what’s in your basket and keep checkout secure. Checkout and payment run on Shopify, which sets its own essential cookies. These can’t be switched off.
Analytics (optional)
If you accept, we use analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We prefer privacy-respecting analytics; where Google Analytics is used it only loads after you accept in the cookie banner.
Advertising (optional)
If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel — a small piece of code from Meta Platforms Ireland, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It records that you visited, which pages you looked at, and whether you added anything to your basket, and it sets Meta cookies on your device. We use this to measure whether our ads work and to show our ads to people who have already visited us. It means Meta can recognise you across their apps.
It loads only after you accept. It never receives your name, address or payment details. Choose “Essential only” and it is never loaded at all — the shop works exactly the same either way.
Managing your choices
When you first visit we ask whether to allow optional analytics and advertising cookies, with an equally clear “Essential only” option. You can change your mind at any time — click “Cookie settings” in the site footer to reopen the banner and accept or reject optional cookies. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can control ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
More detail
How we handle the data behind these cookies is set out in our privacy policy.
